FRED KUHARSKI 1936 2007 After a brief battle with cancer, Fred peacefully passed away January 19, 2007 with his loving family at his side. He will continue to live on in the hearts and minds of his wife Joan; sons, Allan (Jackie), Neil (Sarina), Steven (Doreen); grandsons, Adam, Brandon, Andrew, Justin, and Ryan. He will be fondly remembered by his brother Randy (Joanne), and sisters, Mary (Tony), Josephine (Chester), Doreen (Walter), Connie (Bob), and sister-in-law Louise. He was predeceased by his parents Ignace and Martha and brother Frank. Born and raised in Neepawa, married Joan in 1964, moved to Winnipeg in 1967 to take up the plumbing trade. Fred was an avid fisherman and hunter. Enjoyed his life with his family and grandson's out at the lake. The family extends a special thanks to the staff at the Health Science Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Care of Manitoba or the Canadian Diabetes Foundation. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. with a reception to follow.
