JOSEPH HOOPER On Friday, January 19, 2007, at the Concordia Hospital, Joseph Hooper passed away suddenly at the age of 65 years. Joe will be greatly missed by his beloved wife Elaine Hooper; his daughters, Cynthia (Marcelo) Ulloa, Sandra (Stuart) Hooper, and his son Joe (Colleen) Hooper, as well as four grandchildren, Ethan, Austin, Kathryn, and Kira. Joe is also survived by Helen Doyle, Robert (Beverly) Hooper, Frank (Patricia) Hooper, Louis Hooper, Willy (Betsy) Hooper, John (Margaret) Hooper, as well as nieces, nephews and cousins. Joe was predeceased by his parents, Francis and Elizabeth Hooper, and his sister Elizabeth Evans. Joe worked as a professional driver for over 28 years. He was an owner operator of a Unicity taxicab from 1972 to 1980. From 1980 to 1984 he drove and delivered for Silverwoods Dairies. From 1984 to 2000 Joe was a Long Distance Driver for Kleysen's Transport. After retiring in 2000, Joe enjoyed spending time with family and his grandchildren, fishing and camping in Petersfield, Manitoba. Many thanks to the staff at Concordia Hospital for the care Joe received and the support for the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St., Winnipeg, Manitoba, R2L 1X3.
