NETTIE SCHROEDER On Sunday, January 21, 2007, at the Red River Valley Lodge in Morris, Mrs. Nettie Schroeder, formerly of Lowe Farm, passed away at the age of 91 years. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Abe G. Schroeder, and her sister Anne Giesbrecht. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Verna Schroeder, Betty (Bill) McBride, all of Winnipeg, Judy (Laurie) Hawn of Edmonton, Mel (Pat) of Steinbach; six granddaughters, two grandsons, and one great-grandson. Also surviving are her brother Peter (Helen) Rempel of Winkler; her sister Tina Wiens of Lowe Farm, and sisters-in-law, Anne (Pete) Falk of Winnipeg and Edna Wilson of Toronto. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Nettie's memory to the Red River Valley Lodge, Box 507, Morris, MB, R0G 1K0, or a charity of your choice. There will be viewing at Morris Funeral Home on Thursday, January 25 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A Sommerfelder Mennonite funeral service will be held at the Lowe Farm Bergthaler Church on Friday, January 26 at 2:00 p.m., with interment following at the Kronsweide Cemetery.
