Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY LOUISE BROWN (nee WEBB) August 21, 1956 - January 18, 2007 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Brown on January 18, 2007 at Seven Oaks General Hospital. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunty and friend to all. She is survived by her husband, John, of 26 years; children, Amanda and Jason; siblings, Bill (Bev), Blaine (Molly), Kenneth, Danny (Linda), Sandra (Stephen), foster brother, Alvin (Theresa), John; siblings whom she thought of as her own, Wayne (Louise), Larry (Connie), Nancy (Bill), Brenda (Ivan), Blanche, Denise, numerous nieces and nephews, large extended family, and special friends, Mary Hallett, and Ida Hobden. She was predeceased by her parents, Lorne and Gerry; sister Geraldine; foster brother Stuart; in-laws, Verle and Alex; brothers-in-law, Aurthur, Garry, Peter, and Jim. She was born and raised in Harwill, MB. Mary loved spending time with family and friends. She worked many years at the Fisher Branch Motor Hotel, where she made many friends. The past two years she worked at Mi-Ki-Nak Convenience Restaurant where she enjoyed interacting with the customers. She loved her Saturday night bingos where she worked and got to play at the same time, and chat with everyone. Mary liked to go and play cards with family and friends. She also loved going to Dauphin every summer for the Countryfest as a vacation for herself, with her family and friends. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2007 at the Hodgson Metis Hall at 2:00 p.m., with James Thiessen and Alvin Ross officiating. There will be no graveside service. A private family service will be held at a later date. Flowers graciously declined. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manitoba Diabetic Association or CancerCare Manitoba. Also a heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Percy E. Moore Hospital, and Seven Oaks General Hospital, for looking after her so well. It is greatly appreciated.
