CHARLES HANDSTON DIXON August 28, 1912 - January 22, 2007 With deep sadness, the family of Charles Dixon announces his passing on Monday, January 22, 2007 at the Health Sciences Centre. He was predeceased by his parents, Ephesus and Sarah Dixon, and sons-in-law, Roy Ingleton and Tony McKenzie. He is survived by his loving wife, Una of 68 years; children, Velma (Mark), Patria, Donnie (Bev) and Carol; grandchildren, Karen (Wayne), Richard (Susan), Ann (Kerry), Sandi (Jim), Micheal, Debbie, Howard, Kyra (Gary), Peiré (Lisa), André (Blanca), Simoné, René, Micheal (Carolyn) and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren. Charles came to Canada in 1978 and worked at Grapes until his retirement in 1989. The family would like to thank his Home Care staff and the staff on the 1st floor of Central Park Lodge, 440 Edmonton St. for their kindness and care. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 30 at 1:00 p.m. at Charleswood Gospel Temple, West Perimeter, South of Roblin. Interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Flowers are gratefully declined, donations may be made to Central Park Lodge or a charity of your choice. Pallbearers: Richard, Micheal, Howard, Peiré, André, Micheal D, Gary, Alex, Tyler and Jeff.
