KENNETH WOLFE It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Dad, Kenneth Wolfe, aged 83, on Monday, January 15, 2007. He passed away peacefully in his sleep at Markham Stouffville Hospital following a two week period of hospitalization. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Valerie in April, 2006. Greatly loved and admired, he leaves behind daughter Joan; son-in-law Jay; cherished grandsons, Jordan and Ryan; brothers, Glen, Bill, Elgin and sister Erva. Predeceased by brothers, Oswald, Jim, Alan, and Keith. Formerly from Winnipeg MB, he will be fondly remembered by his good friends and neighbours, as well as the residents and staff of the Rouge Valley Retirement Residence in Markham, ON where he resided for the past year. As a veteran of the Second World War and a retired firefighter and District Chief with the Winnipeg Fire Department he served his country and the city of Winnipeg with courage and dedication. His enormous love of life, family, nature and the land of the prairies will be remembered by those who knew him. Having lived his life with courage, dignity and great kindness, he inspires us and will be forever in our hearts. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 27, 12:00 p.m. at Central United Church, 131 Main St. N., Unionville, ON. If family and friends wish, donations in Dad's memory may be made to Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation, 905-472-7373 ext. 6705.
