ALFRED (FRED) BAUDAIS It is with great sorrow we announce the sudden passing of Fred Baudais on January 22, 2007, at the age of 86 years, at Riverview Health Centre. His memory will be cherished by his loving wife, Myrna. He was her rock. She was his joy. He will be greatly missed by his beloved children, Pat (Harold), Bill (Margaret) and Michael (Wenda), as well as his seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He is survived by his brothers, Rene (Pauline), Gus (Lou), and Vic (Marion); sister Rosa Hossack and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Leon and Alice Baudais; his brother Leon; his sister Alice Mack, and his first wife, Anne. He will be remembered by a host of friends. Those include his golf buddies at Assiniboine Golf Club, his fellow Veterans at the Legion, and his Florida friends in Lake Wales. Fred was proud of his accomplishments during his 38 year career at Manitoba Pool Elevators. A Memorial service will be held on Monday, January 29, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. at the Thomson in the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Interment will take place at a later date in Brandon.
