He is survived by his wife Rita; daughters, Noreen of Deep River, Melody and her husband Fred of Calgary, and Lori of Winnipeg; and grandchildren, Jeannette, Justin, Richelle, Ryan, and Chad. Norman is also survived by his brother Melvin and sister-in-law May. Norman was born on January 7, 1921 and raised in the McTavish area of Manitoba. He had many memories growing up on the farm with his brother and sister. As a young man he served in the army. Upon his return from the Second World War, he won the heart of Rita Lavallee, and they married on August 4, 1947. Norman's greatest gift was his love of family and friends. We will miss his gentle, caring ways, and his zest for life. Many thanks to the doctors and staff at Morris General Hospital, and the homecare personnel at Parkside Villa.
