ALICE MARY CLAIRE ANDREWS (nee CLEMENT) Mrs. Alice Andrews, aged 86 years, of Lac du Bonnet, MB, dearly beloved wife of Forrest Andrews, passed away on January 20, 2007. Alice was born in Lennoxville, QC on May 14, 1920. She married Forrest on January 20, 1948 in Sherbrooke, QC where they lived for the first nine years of their marriage. In 1957 they moved to Manitouwadge, ON and in July of 1968 they made Lac du Bonnet home for their family. Alice was very involved in the community in her early years in Lac du Bonnet as she was instrumental in helping to organize a figure skating club and assisting in fundraising for hockey. One of Alice's passions was sewing and she created many quillow-pillows with which her family and friends will fondly remember her. Another of Alice's talents was cooking, especially when she could involve her grandchildren in her culinary creations. Alice will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humour, her infectious laughter and her beaming smile when she was driving Bruce's boat on the river. Alice is survived by her husband Forrest; her sons, Bruce Andrews (Barb), Michael Andrews (Mary Ellen) and her daughters, Debra (Debbie) Davis (Wayne) and Donna Gatschuff (John); and her grandchildren, Lance, Kurt, Cassandra, Allen, Devin, Chelsea and Courtney. A private family interment will occur in the spring. The family wishes to express thanks to Dr. J. Greyling and the home care staff that provided consistent and loving care of our wife, mother and friend. SOBERING FUNERAL CHAPEL CREMATORIUM, Beausejour 268-3510 or MB Toll Free 1-877-776-2220
