MARIE ALBERTINE CLANDININ (nee JOBIN) One of St. Claude pioneer ladies has left us. Marie Clandinin (née Jobin) passed away quietly on January 28, 2007 at the St. Claude Personal Care Home at the age of 101 years. Marie leaves to mourn one sister-in-law Jeanne Jobin, several nieces and nephews. She was born April 12, 1905 in St. Claude, Manitoba the sixth of seven children. Her parents were Edouard and Marie Jobin (née Chareyron). Her sisters, were Emma (Romeo Aubin) and Cecile (Herve Lacroix). Brothers, were Emile (Marie Rey), Edouard (Dianna Baron). Arthur and Albert Jobin ( Jeanne Pachet) She is predeceased by her husband Tom Clandinin in 1993 and many of the Clandinin family. Pallbearers are: Henri and Gisele Jobin George and Gisele Jobin Cecile and Robert Deurbrouck Funeral Services will be held at the St. Claude Catholic Church, St. Claude, MB. on Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Marie's memory to the St. Claude Pavilion, c/o the St. Claude Health District Foundation, Box 400, St. Claude, MB ROG 1ZO.
