LARRY NAZARUK It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our father Larry Nazaruk, on January 29, 2007 at the Grace Hospital at the age of 80 years. He was predeceased by his wife Anne in 2000. Larry Nazaruk is lovingly remembered by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Larry Nazaruk was born in Fox Valley, Saskatchewan and settled in Winnipeg in the early 1950s. He worked for the Canadian National Railway in the freight and express department for 27 years until his retirement. He had a great love of music and was self taught to play the accordion, violin and guitar. He enjoyed playing music and over the years entertained his family and friends with many hours of music and joy. There are fond memories of his many back yard concerts for the grandchildren. Larry was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather. Family was a great part of his life. He took pride in the many accomplishments of his children and grandchildren attending graduations, hockey games and Christmas concerts. He will be greatly missed. We would like to thank the staff at Concordia and Grace Hospitals and the Charleswood Care Center for their kindness, care and attention for our father, which is greatly appreciated. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, February 2, 2007 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel 357 rue DesMeurons Winnipeg, Manitoba. Viewing is to take place from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. with a service and luncheon to follow. Interment will take place immediately thereafter at the Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens.
