GEORGE FRIESEN On Monday, January 29, 2007 at Third Crossing Manor Gladstone, George Friesen, formerly of Plumas, passed away at the age of 78 years. Surviving is his wife Helen; two daughters, Heather Friesen and Gwen (Dennis) Weeks; granddaughter Jenna; two brothers, Johnny and Betty Friesen and Peter and Tina Friesen; one sister Mary and Corny Esau; sister-in-law Anne Friesen; brother-in-law Helmut Rempel and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Friday, February 2 at 2:00 p.m. in the Gladstone United Church with Rev. Ian Olive officiating. Interment will follow at the Gladstone Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson Society of Canada, 316 - 4211 Yonge St., Suite 316, Toronto, ON M2P 2A9.
