Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCHARLES MACK Peacefully, with family at his side, on Monday, January 29, 2007, at the Portage District General Hospital, Charles Mack of Portage la Prairie, formerly of Alonsa, MB, widower of the late Ida Mack, passed away at the age of 90 years. Memorial service will be held in the Alonsa Hall on Saturday, February 3 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will take place at a later date in the Alonsa Cemetery. Charles was born on January 27, 1917. Predeceased by his wife Ida, and infant baby Mack in March 1970; son-in-law Bill Sproat; three brothers, John, Walter, Tom; two sisters, Katie Armit and Mary Mack. He leaves to mourn his passing eight sons, Larry, Barry (Debbie), all of Winnipeg, Duane (Barbara), Tom and Grant, all of Alonsa, Vaughan, Chad (Shelley) of Portage and Brian (Rhonda) of Winnipeg; two daughters, Linda Mack and Helen Sproat, both of Portage, 17 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Should friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to Central Plains Cancer Care Services, 318, Saskatchewan Ave. East, Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 0K8 or the Children's Wish Foundation of Manitoba, CE 501, 840 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3A 1S1. A tribute DVD in memory of Charles will be produced by the Omega Funeral Home and friends may leave a message of sympathy on our website www.omegafuneralhome.com. Dedicated to those we serve.
