LEONARD (BUSTER) HAWKINSON Peacefully with his family by his side, Buster Hawkinson passed away on January 30, 2007 at the age of 94 years. He was predeceased by his wife Margaret in 1985 and his three sisters, Dorothy, Freda and Elsie. Dad will be sadly missed by, his son Keith (Kim); his daughter Linda (Bob) Schoettle; his grandson Brett (fiancée Stacie); sisters-in-law, Helena Crawford and Muriel Braid and many nieces, nephews and friends. Dad worked for Bristol Aerospace for 26 years as a Sheet Metal worker. Prior to working for Bristol he worked as a Commercial Fisherman, Policeman and also worked on the construction of the Alaskan Highway. His passion was Delta Marsh and duck hunting. He also enjoyed curling. Both of which he did well into his 80s. The family would like to thank Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg, West 2 for all their tender loving care and support. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 3 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation starting at 12:00 noon at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment will follow in Lilyfield Cemetery. Due to Dad's great love of animals, flowers are gratefully declined. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
