MIKE PAWLUK 1926 - 2007 Suddenly on January 30, 2007, Mike passed away with his loving wife Jerene by his side. He is survived by his wife Jerene (Kolenich); brother Bill and sister Ann, both of Calgary; his sister Nadia of San Diego, California, nieces, nephews, family, friends and relatives in the Ukraine. Mike was predeceased by his first wife Barbara, his parents, and sister Pearl. Mike was born in the Ukraine and came to Canada as an infant. He was raised in Nipiwan, Saskatchewan, then moved to Winnipeg where he worked at Versatile for many years. He was a long-time member of Sts. Vladimir and Olga Cathedral. Pallbearers will be Allister Kolenich, Ken Vince, Daryl Kolenich, Eugene Kolenich, Mike Knysh and Nick Knysh. Prayers will be held tonight (Thursday, February 1) at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. at 7:00 p.m. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at Sts. Vladimir and Olga Cathedral, 114 McGregor St. at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Mitrat Michael Buyachok officiating. Interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery.
