Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHARRY RIENCH Peacefully, with his family at his side, on Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at St. Boniface Hospital, Harry Riench, at the age of 89 years, has left to join his wife Hazel whom he had missed terribly since her passing in November 1995. Harry was predeceased by his brothers, Albert, Alex and Edward and sisters, Edith, Elsie, Emma and Violet. Harry will be lovingly remembered by his son Barry; his daughters, Arlene Ribaric (Tony), Barb Otke and Norma Lashek (Wayne); son Brian (Tracy); daughter in-law Erika Riench; his grandchildren, Jaime (Jorge), Jackie, Christy, Ryan, Marnie (Rocco), Colin, Derek, Amy, Lisa, Austin and Colton; and great-grandchildren Chaden, Alexis, Hazen, Megan and Christopher. Harry is also survived by his sister Evelyn Litke. Harry was born August 29, 1917 on a farm in Molson. In 1948, he moved to Beausejour and built a house at which he still resided at the time of his passing. He worked for the Department of Highways for nearly 30 years, retiring in 1984. Harry had a passion for carpentry and always had a hammer in hand to help out his children with their projects. Once he retired from carpentry, he enjoyed spending time with his friends having coffee and discussing how to solve the world's problems. Many thanks to staff at the Beausejour and St. Boniface Hospitals who helped make Dad's passing as peaceful as possible. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 2, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. from Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue East, Beausejour with Pastor Harold Borchardt officiating. In lieu of flowers, if friends and family so desire, donations in Harry's memory may be made to the Beausejour District Hospital, Box 1690, Beausejour, MB R0E 0C0 or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 200-6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6 Harry will be sadly missed by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and his coffee buddies.
