MARTHA FRIEDA MOAR (nee BEHRENDT) Peacefully on Monday, January 29, 2007 at her home, Martha Moar passed away at the age of 90 years. Martha was predeceased by her husband Joseph Alexander Moar; her sisters, Elsie, Clara, Violet and brothers, Kurt and Bill. She leaves to mourn her children, Wesley (Judy), Kathleen (Myron), Janet (Barry) and James (Terrie); grandchildren, Samantha (Kevin), Steven (Leah), Matthew, Karen (Steve), Vanessa (Kevin), Jeannine (Andrew), Bobbi-Jo (Rob), Heather, Michael (Dawn), Jolynne (Ryan), Andrea (Richard); great-grandchildren, Savannah, Darcy, Tristan, Brady, Isabella and Robert; a sister Hilda Kimber; sisters-in-law, Margaret Lillequist, Grace Moar and Emily Lillequist; brother-in-law Lloyd Moar and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Martha's life will be held on Friday, February 2 at 2:00 p.m. in the Selkirk United Church, 202 McLean Ave., Selkirk, MB with Rev. Ken DeLisle officiating. Luncheon to follow the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Selkirk Lions Club. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
