Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM (BILL) DIDUR Passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 28, 2007 at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 81 years. Bill was predeceased by his wife of 44 years Katherine in 1998; brother Joseph and sister Anne. He is survived by his daughters, Teresa (Peter) Macijuk and Shelley (Bob) Burtniak; grandchildren, Tania, Peter, Dax, Reiss, and Michael. Bill is also survived by his brother Mike (Pauline) Didur; nieces and nephews, Gail, Judy, Elaine, Bob, Gary, Dale, Don and Wayne. Bill was born in Winnipeg. He attended school in Winnipeg and joined the Armed Forces in 1944 serving to 1945 overseas. He met Katherine after his return from the War and they were married in 1954. Bill worked for Canadian Pacific Railway for over 30 years retiring as a Conductor. Bill and Katherine were avid travellers and had many vacations including the Caribbean Islands, Hawaii and Mexico. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, bingo and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held Friday, February 2, 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home with viewing one-half hour prior to. Interment to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to the staff of Seven Oaks Hospital especially Dr. Maureen Keenan, and the staff of Middlechurch Home.
