MANUEL ANTONIO BRILHANTE Peacefully on January 30, 2007, Manuel passed away at Riverview Health Centre at the age of 71. Manuel is survived by daughters, Lucy (Luis) and Dianna; sons, Tony (Lina), David (Ana) and Joe; grandchildren, Marco, Christina, Ashley, Marianne, Shane and Chaise; brother John; sister Ana Maria; and nieces and nephews. Manuel was born on September 4, 1935 in Portugal and came to Canada in 1970. He worked in construction for many years. Manuel loved fishing and spending time with family. The family would like the staff at Riverview Health Centre, at the dialysis unit and on Unit GD4 at Health Sciences Centre for their care and compassion. Also thanks to the staff at Central Park Lodge. Prayers will be held on Thursday, February 1 at 8:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin Street N. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 2 at 10:00 a.m. also at the Church with Rev. Fr. José Eduardo Medeiros, V.F. as celebrant. Interment to follow in Assumption Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Manuel's memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
