RAYMOND (SAM) MAURICE SANREGRET August 28, 1926 - January 30, 2007 Peacefully, in the early afternoon of Tuesday, January 30, 2007, Raymond passed away at the Grace General Hospital in Winnipeg after suffering a massive heart attack. Raymond is survived and will be missed by his step-children, Frank (Annie), Pat (Janet) and Julie; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Ruth, Harold, Tom, Al, Bert, Ken, Muriel and Corrine. He was predeceased by his wife Margret; his parents, George and Adlina Sanregret and his siblings Tony and Carmen. After a long career in the Canadian Army, Raymond made Winnipeg his home in 1969. He worked for approximately 10 years with the Motor Vehicle Branch of the Manitoba government before fully retiring. While in Winnipeg, Raymond became very active in the local sports scene, acting as an off ice official with the Winnipeg Jets organization for a number of years which brought him great joy. Cremation will take place immediately and a memorial reception will be held at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivary Blvd, Winnipeg, on Tuesday, February 6, 2007. Flowers are gratefully declined but donations in Raymond's memory may be made to the Diabetes Association or to a charity of your choice. You will be missed!
