BRUNHILDE WEHRHAHN (nee OSADCHUK) Peacefully, on February 1, 2007 at Concordia Hospital, Bruni passed away. Bruni was predeceased by her husband Bill and her sister Mimi Malisauskas in 2005. She is survived by her only son, Jim James, wife Nancy and their two sons, Nic and Dylan. She is also survived by her nephew Bruno Malis, wife Pat and their children, Angela and Derrick. Also nephew Margis Malisauskas, wife Cindy and their children, Christopher and Anthony in California. Bruni was born in Italy, raised in Germany during the war and came to Canada at 18 years of age, to join her sister in Winnipeg. Bruni worked hard all her life and despite many obstacles she provided a loving home for her son Jimmy. The two of them made a good team together. Bruni and Bill loved to travel to the hot climates of Mexico, Barbados and Hawaii and spent many winters in the sun. Summers were spent at their cottage at Winnipeg Beach. This past summer Mom spent time with us at our family cottage at Laclu, Ontario and we know she had a great time there just relaxing out in the bay in the floating chair (We told you it would hold you up!) or lounging on the deck just looking up at the beautiful white pine tree. She was so happy! We would like to thank her friends, Dave and Irmgard Bartel, Walter and Johanna Paul and John and Ann Tates for always being there for Mom. We would also like to thank the wonderful staff on 3 West at the Concordia Hospital, along with Dr. E. Doermer. Your care and kindness to Mom this past month will never be forgotten. In keeping with Mom's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will not be a funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association in Mom's memory. Thanks Mom for all your love and understanding. Love Jimily CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
