EBBA SVENDSON February 25, 1914 January 25, 2007 With sadness in our hearts we announce the passing of Ebba; loving sister, sister-in-law, friend and dear aunt on Thursday, January 25, 2007 at the Concordia Hospital at the age of 92 years. Remaining to forever cherish Ebba's memory are her sister Esther Wilks; brother Robert and wife Martha, and sisters-in-law, Mary and Edna. Ebba had a special place in her heart for her nephew Dennis, but also dearly loved all her nieces and nephews and their families. She was predeceased by her sister Ellen and brothers, Elmer, Harry, Albert and George. Ebba was born in Aalborg, Denmark and immigrated to Canada at the age of 10 years with her parents and siblings. She thoroughly enjoyed her years of employment with the C.B.C. in the costume department. For many years the place to go on Christmas Eve was Aunt Ebba's. She was a gracious hostess and loved showing off her beautifully decorated home. Ebba was very fashionable and her sense of style was second to none. In compliance with Ebba's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held and a private family service will take place at a later date. Rest in Peace and Take Care.
