Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPAUL MAMALYGO Mr. Paul Mamalygo, aged 67 years, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2007 at St. Joseph's Hospital with friends and family by his side. Paul was born in Russell, MB May 15, 1939, was raised and went to school in Rossburn, Manitoba. He left Rossburn on June 16, 1956 for Winnipeg and lived with Aunty Anne and Uncle Marty Bell. He started working at Searle Grain Co. on August 2, 1956; this was the start of his work in the grain trade for 38 years. He transferred to Thunder Bay in April 1972 with Saskatchewan Wheat Pool and worked at the elevators as an Operations Supervisor until offered retirement February 1, 1994. Paul will be sadly missed by his sons, David, Robert and Richard; daughters-in-law, Lisa and Diana; grandchildren, Justina, Jonathan and Michael; great-grandchild Monica; his mother, sister Mildred and brother-in-law Andy in Rivers, MB; brother Terry in Omaha, Nebraska. Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. Paul leaves to join his wife Emilie, who passed away on June 9, 1999; his in-laws, Stan and Tillie Senkerik and brother-in-law Stan Senkerik Jr., also his father John who passed away in 1982. An evening gathering for Mr. Paul Mamalygo will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 6, 2007 in the Westfort Chapel, 420 Gore Street West at James, Thunder Bay, ON. A Memorial Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2007 at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, Winnipeg, MB. A private family interment will take place at a later date in Holy Family Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
