MARGARET LILLIAN WESEEN It is with deepest sorrow that the family wishes to announce that after a courageous battle with cancer, Margaret Lillian Weseen passed away on January 31, 2007 with her family by her side, at the Grace Hospital. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Bud; children, Tom (Hazel), Debra Courrier (Stanton), Linda and David (Barbara); her grandchildren, Melissa (Brent), Bob (Andrea), Jaclyn, Kelli, Jeffrey and Bennett; great-grandchild Stephan; mother Lillian Thomas; sisters, Fran Loudon (Doug), Gladys Parker (Jack); brother Barry (Rose); sister-in-law Sandra Wice (Ken); brothers-in-law, Ronald (Marilyn) and Wayne (Isabelle); as well as many nieces and nephews. Marg was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a devoted daughter and will always be remembered as a kind and generous person. She enjoyed curling, bowling, bingo and gardening. She loved to spend many hours tending to her gardens and watching the hummingbirds and orioles at her birdfeeders. Marg loved the military life, travelling all across Canada and making great and lasting friendships that she cherished along the way. Even though her bright and shining light has gone out, her glow will last forever in all those whose lives she touched. The family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and staff at the Grace Hospital, the Grace Cancer Clinic and the Home Care Nurses for taking care of her. In lieu of flowers, should friends desire, donations to the Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Ave, Winnipeg, MB R3A 1P6 or to a charity of your choice, may be made in Marg's honour.
