ELSIE CHRISTINE CRAMP (nee RASMUSSEN) With family by her side, our beloved Mom, Grandma, Great-grandma, sister and friend passed away on February 1, 2007 at the Lundar Personal Care Home. Her contagious smile will be missed. Mom was born December 3, 1916 in Carberry, MB. She came to the Interlake in the late 30's, finally settling in Eriksdale with her mother, where she remained the rest of her life. Mom met and married the love of her life Frederick Cramp on October 18, 1944. She raised her four children, helped on the farm, grew the most productive garden in the summer, and made the most wonderful pastries, cookies, bread, etc., which she never tasted because of her diabetes. Mom is survived by her family; son Edward, of Eriksdale, MB; daughters, Dorothy (Boris) Porkipchuk of BC, Katheline (Michael) Jennings of Ontario; son Arthur (Heather) of Lundar, MB; seven grandchildren and their spouses; 11 great-grandchildren, and one more in June; her brother Cliff Rasmussen (Francis) and family of Winnipeg, MB. She was predeceased by her husband Frederick in 1988. Mom was a diabetic for a remarkable 52 years, never faltering on her diet. She lived a productive life of 90 years. She only spent close to three years with a very caring and loving staff at Lundar PCH. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in the Eriksdale United Church with Rev. Melanie Kauppila officiating. Interment to follow in the Eriksdale Cemetery. Viewing at the church prior to the service. Active pallbearers will be her grandson and grandsons-in-law, Tom Cramp, Mike Tritthart, Randy Kehler, and her PCH and homecare workers Colleen Hogue, Anna Forte, and Judy Kehler. Honorary Pallbearers will be Harry Warwick, John Forsyth, and Dwayne Petersen. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 200-310 Broadway Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 0S6, or to the Lundar Personal Care Home Guild, Box 296 Lundar, MB. Rest peacefully Mom free of your pokes . You are and will be forever loved and missed. Arrangements by: ARNASON FUNERAL HOMES LTD. Ashern - Lundar (204) 768-2072
