Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMELVILLE THOMPSON LEE Peacefully passed away at the Winnipeg Deer Lodge Centre on February 1, 2007. Melville will be missed by his three sons, Wayne, Robert and Barry, as well as many relatives and friends. He was predeceased by wife Margaret; long time friend Edna; sisters, Merle Cotton, Ferne Sidden, and brothers, Clifford, Fred, Clarence. Born on June 26, 1916 in Swan River, raised near Benito, Manitoba. He farmed and worked as a carpenter in the Swan River Valley until 1956 when he moved to Edmonton and started a home repair business and remained there until 1974 when he moved to Winnipeg, he retired in 1994. In his retired years he spent time with friends and family until he could not get around anymore, he moved to Lions Manor in 2005. In the fall he was hospitalized and later moved to Deer Lodge Centre. The family would like to thank the staff at Deer Lodge 2South for their care and kindness. In accordance with his wishes and family, cremation has taken place. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery, Kenville, Manitoba at a later date. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 9 at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Avenue at Aubrey Street entrance. NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200 nbardal.mb.ca
