Date of Passing: Feb 03, 2007
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCONNIE HOLIGROSKI 1962 - 2007 Peacefully, on Saturday, February 3, 2007, with her family at her side, Constance Lyla Jean Holigroski (nee Okolita) of Green Bay, MB, went to join her Dad and be with their Father in Heaven. Connie was predeceased by her father Martin Okolita in December 2006, and her father-in-law Steve Holigroski in 1993. She is survived by her loving husband Bob, and daughter Tegan; mother Vangie Okolita; brother Dennis Okolita; sister Tamara Strecker (Darrin), and Godchildren, Bethany and Christian; along with mother-in-law Betty Holigroski (Ted); brothers-in-law, Barry (Linda), Peggy and Christopher, Howard (Anna), Scott and Michael; sister-in-law Bonnie (Brian) and Sheena. Tegan was Connie's pride and joy. She was very proud of her Teggy Sunshine her best friend. As a teenager, Tegan won a trip to Mexico. She chose to take her Mom with her. What an honour for a mother! Connie's house and yard were very important to her. Their house was always clean and the yard, beautiful with flowers and gardens, including a vegetable garden big enough to feed half the town. Connie, Bob and Tegan loved camping. Many Fridays, Connie would have the camper ready and waiting, so they could leave the minute Bob got home. They spent much of the weekend out on the boat, fishing and sun-tanning. They would get home Sunday evening with just enough time for Bob to cut grass and for Connie to clean out the camper to prepare for the week. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 7 at 1:00 p.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue East, Beausejour with Pastor Mark Koenker officiating. A prayer service will be held on Tuesday, February 6 at 7:30 p.m. also at the Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Connie's memory to The St. Paul's Lutheran Church for maintenance of the Cemetery, Box 17, Group 430, R.R. 4, Beausejour, MB R0E 0C0.
