JOHN MELNYK John Melnyk passed away in his sleep, with his wife Natalie Audrey by his side, at the age of 67 years, at Seven Oaks General Hospital. John was born in Zhoda, MB on January 17, 1940 to Pete and Anna Melnyk. He was predeceased by his parents, Pete and Anna; brothers-in-law, Mike Picklyk and Steve Bodnarchuk, and his nephew Donny Picklyk. John's memory will be cherished and never forgotten by his loving wife Natalie Audrey (Kyweriga), of 40 years; his five children, Jerry Melnyk, Josie (Cory) Sundelin, Cheryl (Leslie) Fedon, Darryl Melnyk and Brad (Sherri) Melnyk; his 10 grandchildren, Brittany, Haley, Krista, Joshua, Matthew, Andrew, Robert, Tyler, Codey and Cierra; two sisters, Evelyn and Olga, and lots of nieces and nephews. He also will be missed by his neighbours and friends, especially Jacob and Leokadia Gruening. During his life John worked at Conforce and Genstar up until his illness took over. John enjoyed spending his time fishing, hunting, playing cards and listening to Ukrainian music. Sincere thanks to the doctors and staff at Seven Oaks Hospital for all the care and understanding. God Bless You All! Prayers will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. also at Cropo's. Interment to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Boris Picklyk, Eddie Bodnarchuk, Kenny Bodnarchuk, Perry Kyweriga, Jeff Guenther and Jamie Alexiuk.
