CLARE OLLADINE LUETCHFORD (TEMPLIN) With deep sadness the family announces the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister on Saturday, February 3, 2007. Remaining to forever cherish her memory are her daughters, Charlotte (Doug) Penner, Eleanor Luetchford; her grandchildren, Lisa (Bruce), Craig, Jennifer and Angela; great-granddaughter Sydney Olladine; her brothers, Bill and Paul Templin and their families and her brother-in-law Harold (Venitia). She was predeceased by her husband Gerry in 1996. Clare was born in Winnipeg May 27, 1926 and attended Daniel McIntyre Collegiate and earned her B.A. Degree at United College. She and Gerry were married in October 1949. Clare was a loving, devoted, caring wife and mother. Everyone elses needs came before her own. She was also a working mother, beginning as a stenographer / private secretary, retiring as an unemployment insurance agent for the federal government. Most importantly she enjoyed time with family and was famous for her Ribs . Classical music, opera, ballet and crossword puzzles were some of her varied interests. The family would like to thank the staff at the Grace Hospital for their care and kindness. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 8 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. with Rev. Bill Corkum officiating. A reception will follow.
