KIRBY GEORGE CORNWELL February 15, 1958 - February 4, 2007 Leaves to cherish his memories, wife Susan Campbell Pike; sons, Joey, Clint, Taylor (Keele), James and daughter Amanda (Geoff); father George (Blanche); mother Carol (Paul) Coghill; sister Susan (Charles) Switzer; sister Ginny (Pat) Kingston; brother Jeff (Danielle) Underdown. Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Grandchildren and Friends. Kirby worked hard all his life. He spent 25 years at Controlled Environments and also worked part-time with Gordie and Jackie at Lake Winnipeg Shiners. He enjoyed life to the fullest, summers camping, canoeing, quading, winters snowmobiling and you could always find him tinkering in the garage, helping friends or building something, babysitting and watching his Nascar and Discovery Channel and the Military station. He enjoyed sitting around a good campfire especially with family and friends everyone was always welcome. In lieu of flowers a Trust Account has been set up for Kirby's grandchildren at the South Interlake Credit Union, Teulon Branch, phone 204-886-2881. Donations can be made to the account of: IN TRUST FOR THE GRANDCHILDREN OF KIRBY CORNWELL. A celebration of Kirby's life will be held at the Gunton Community Hall, Friday, February 9 staring at 2:00 p.m., everyone is welcome. MacKenzie Funeral Home Stonewall in care of arrangements.
