JEAN ( JOHN) MARIE OLLIVIER 1920 - 2007 With his family by his side, John passed away peacefully at Victoria Hospital, at the age of 86 years on Wednesday, February 7, 2007. John will be lovingly remembered by his wife Audrey of 62 years; son Dennis (Lenore); daughters, Marian (Garry) and Suzanne. Four grandsons, Ryan, Reade, Christian (Tiffany) and Daniel (Jaclyn), two granddaughters, Deanne (Richard) and Christina; three great-grandchildren, Théa, Madison and Hailey. Also his many nieces and nephews, special in his life were Paulette, Gilbert and Jeannine. John was attending Vocational School in Regina, when he joined the R.C.A.F. in 1941 to serve his country. He was assigned to 429 Squadron in England until 1945. He brought home a war-bride, Audrey, whom he married in Liverpool in 1944. Upon returning home he owned and operated a Farm Implement Sales Business in Rathwell, MB until his retirement in 1978. Audrey and John had many happy retirement years in Mesa, AZ. John loved his family, grandchildren, nieces and nephews and his kindness and sense of humour touched everyone he knew. Family would like to extend a special thank you to the care given to John at the Victoria Hospital. Donations in John's memory can be made to the Diabetes Society or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Memorial service will be on Monday, February 12 at 10:00 a.m. at Mary Mother of the Church, 85 Kirkbridge Drive, Winnipeg.
