MILKA (MIRA) JAMBROSIC Peacefully on February 7, 2007, Milka passed away at the Riverview Health Centre at the age of 66. Milka is survived by her only son Luka (Heather Kovacs) of Winnipeg; brothers, Petar, Mirko, Vojn and Nikola; sisters, Stoja, Stana and Slavka; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Josip. Milka was born on February 14, 1940 in Yugoslavia and immigrated to Canada on August 22, 1967. She worked at the Winnipeg Old Country Sausage for 25 years. Milka loved her arts and crafts, garage sales and refurbishing furniture. She enjoyed working at the Serbian Pavilion at Folklorama. The family would like to thank the staff at CancerCare Manitoba and at Riverview Health Centre for their care and compassion. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 10 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Milka's memory to CancerCare Manitoba.
