THERESA (TERRY) WOJCIKOWSKI (nee JAWORSKI) With deep sadness the family announces the passing of our dear wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister on Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at Concordia General Hospital. Theresa was born in Tyndall, MB on September 14, 1929. She spent her childhood and school years in Tyndall. She is survived by her loving husband Herman of 52 years and six loving children, Christine, Lucille (Peter), Thomas (Brenda), Gregory (Denise), Mary (Peter), Patricia (Alan), 11 dear grandchildren, Cara, Heidi (Nelson), Nicholas (Natalie), Timothy, Phillip, Tyler, Hayley, Amanda, Rebecca, Alex and Eric and one great-grandchild Britney. Also sisters, Mary, Pearl and brother Joseph. Theresa was predeceased by her mom and dad, Frances and Michael Jaworski; sisters, Eleanor, Genevieve and brother Thadeus. Theresa was a member of the Catholic Women's League. She loved volunteering at the Thrift shop and perogy pinching. She loved all her dear grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She took part in some of their activities and thoroughly enjoyed them. She enjoyed making dinners (when she was able) for special occasions so the family could be together. Theresa loved singing and sung in the St. Cecilia Choir at Holy Ghost Church, playing baseball (especially with her grandchildren) and gardening. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the caring and professional staff at Concordia General Hospital and to the many friends that provided support through their visits. Prayers will be held on Sunday, February 11 at 3:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 12 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church, Munroe Avenue and Brazier Street. Interment will follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Theresa's memory to a charity of your choice.
