CONSTANCE LOWTHER CROSSIN (nee BOUSFIELD) 1903 - 2007 Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, Constance (Con) Crossin passed away on January 30, 2007 at Beaconsfield Manor, Montreal, Quebec at the age of 103 years. She was predeceased by her husband Harold Crossin in 1982 and will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Marion Titterton of Winnetka, Illinois and Gail Desnoyers of Montreal, Quebec; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Alan Crossin (Anne) of Winnipeg; a large extended family and many friends. Con was born November 19, 1903 in Cotehill, Cumberland, England, daughter of Fredrick Ladlay Bousfield and Hannah Lloyd. In 1912 she came to Canada with her family as her father had been hired as a schoolmaster in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She married Harold, the love of her life, in Winnipeg in 1927. Harold's transfer by James Richardson and Sons in 1936 took them to Toronto where she served for 60 years as an active board member of the Big Sisters Association of Metropolitan Toronto. From 1950 to 1965 she had a successful career as a real estate agent. In 1998 she moved to Montreal, Quebec to be with her daughter Gail. A family gathering will be held to celebrate Con's life at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto, Ontario on May 5, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Donations may be made to The Kelty Patrick Dennehy Foundation, P.O.
