GLADYS BLACK It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gladys Lorraine Black on February 6, 2007. She has gone to be with her Lord and Saviour. She was known for her devotion to her family and her Lord. Gladys was predeceased by her husband Norman Black, mother and father Rose and Basil Cole, sister Marge Myles, niece Darlene Myles and sister-in-law and best friend Minnie McKenzie. Gladys will be remembered by her sons, Douglass (Pearl) Black, and Ken (Heather) Black, daughter Janet Cousins, grandchildren, Richard Cousins, Michael (Candace) Cousins, Trevor (Christie) Cousins, Mindy, Carrie and Paula Black, Shane Gunn, great-grandchildren, Sebastian, Conlan and Hayden, brother Basil (Shirley) Cole, brother-in-law Wally Myles, sister-in-law Eileen (Nelson) Shodine and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff of ward 3-E, Riverview Health Centre. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 13 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home 220 Hespeler Ave. Interment to follow at a later date at Brookside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gladys' name to CancerCare Manitoba, Administration Donations, 1160-675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
