Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryF. BRIAN SAVAGE Peacefully at home on Friday, February 9, 2007, Brian Savage passed away with his beloved wife Marilyn at his side. Survived besides his loving wife Marilyn; two daughters, Tiffany Savage (Kevin Kidd), Gayle Savage (Jim Varndell); four grandchildren, Matthew, Meagan, Kyla and Dylan; also survived by three sisters and their families. Predeceased by two year old daughter Sandra in 1963; also his parents, Anne and Mike and sister Kitty. Born and raised in Powell River, BC, Brian joined the R.C.M.P. in 1955. He was stationed in many communities throughout Ontario, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. After retiring from the R.C.M.P. in Winnipeg, Brian still resided in Stonewall and worked as a private investigator for many years. He was an avid sports fan of curling, baseball and a volunteer for Sports Manitoba. Brian will be best known for the voice of the Stonewall Blue Jays Baseball Team. A prayer service will be held on Sunday, February 11 at 7:00 p.m. in the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, 433 Main St., Stonewall. Memorial service will be held on Monday, February 12 at 2:00 p.m. also in the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to Southwest Palliative Care, P.O. Box 1282, Stonewall, MB R0C 2Z0. The family would like to thank all the Home Care staff, hospital staff and the Palliative Care Team for their wonderful care and support. MacKenzie Funeral Home Stonewall in care of arrangements.
