GILBERT N. DELANNOY Peacefully, after a long battle with cancer, on Friday, February 9, 2007, Gilbert Delannoy passed away at the age of 66 years. Gilbert will be lovingly remembered by his wife Marie-Paule (nee Pelletier) of 38 years; children, Lise (Norris) Cook, Marc (Monique) and Brigitte; grandsons, Patrick, Jeremie and Jonah Cook, Luc, Gabriel, Clement and Julien Delannoy; brothers and sisters, Jeannette (Raymond) Bacon, Ben (Frances), Leo (Josee), Denis (Rosemarie), Doris (Claude) Dufault, Paul (Hanneke), and Carole (Normand) Parent; and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Jean and Marie. The family wishes to thank Dr. R. Wong and staff of CancerCare Manitoba and Dr. K. Coates for their care and kindness over the years. Cremation has taken place. Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Father Edouard Bonin on Wednesday, February 14, at 10:30 a.m. at Cathedrale de Saint-Boniface, 190 avenue de la Cathedrale. Interment will follow in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens, with reception in the Glen Lawn Reception Centre.
