Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKATARINA TERIACO (KAY KONISKI) Passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 8, 2007 at the Odd Fellow Rebekah Home, Jackson, Michigan. Survived by son Michael and his wife Linda of East St. Paul; one grandson, Joel and his mother Karie Tallman, of Jackson, Michigan; sister Anne Gylywaychuk; brother, Michael Koniski and his wife Tillie; sister-in-law, Pearl Koniski, all of Winnipeg, many nieces and nephews in Winnipeg and Vancouver. Kay was born in Springfield, Manitoba on February 27, 1921. After growing up on the family farm in Narol, Kay moved to Toronto in 1939. She earned a degree as a commercial artist and worked for MGM motion pictures as a film editor. Kay moved to Jackson, Michigan in 1955, married John Teriaco and raised a family. Kay was predeceased by husband John and son Richard Teriaco; her parents, Samuel and Palagia Koniski; brothers, Steve, John and Joseph Koniski; brother-in-law Morris Gylywaychuk and niece Sharon McRae. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. in Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church, 6297 Henderson Hwy., with Fr. Peter Chorney officiating, with interment to follow in the parish cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Kay's nephews.
