ISIDOR KLEIN On Friday, February 9 2007, Isidor Klein passed away quietly at home, at the age of 84, after a brief battle with cancer. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 59 years, Martha Klein; his daughter Linda Schroeder (Sig); granddaughters, Karen Schroeder (Bill Pannu) and Kathy Schroeder, great-granddaughter Hannah Pannu, and his brother Anton and cousins in Germany. The family would like to extend their thanks to the compassionate nursing staff at the Victoria General Hospital, the coordinators, medical staff and caregivers at Palliative Care Manitoba, W.R.H.A. Homecare, and CancerCare Manitoba, as well as the friends and extended family that have offered their love and support over the past months. A Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, February 15 at 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. #1 E. at Navin Road. Viewing will be held prior to the service at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow in Green Acres Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Isidor's name to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB, R3E 0V9.
