Peacefully on February 10, 2007 with his family at his side, at the Riverview Health Centre, Winnipeg, Joe passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer. Joe was predeceased by his wife of 20 years, Agathe; his father Gabriel; nephew Danny; brothers, Leonard and Kenneth Sr. Joe is survived by his lifelong partner Josephine; daughters, Tammy (Stephen), Eileen (Patrick); grandchildren, Damien, Fiona and Odessa; mother Emily; brothers, Art (Bernice), Dennis (Iris); sisters, Terry, Charlotte (Bill), Alice (Dick), Marlene (Al), Maggie (Jim), Helen (George), Anne (Bob); sister-in-law Frances, numerous nieces and nephews, also stepchildren and grandchildren. Joe will be sadly and deeply missed, he was a kind, gentle spirited person who would have given the shirt off his back for anyone. The family would like to thank the Riverview Palliative Care Unit for all their kindness and compassion for dad during his passing, they made his last days comfortable. A very special thank you to Fiona and Ashley for helping to care for their grandfather during his illness. Pallbearers: Howard Fontaine, Stephen Chrusch, Michael Chrusch, Stephen Starr, Matthew Chrusch, Lambert Sinclair. Joe's wake has begun in the Multi-Purpose Building (Christian Fellowship Church) in Sagkeeng First Nations starting Sunday, February 11, 2007 at 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 14, 1007 at 2:00 p.m. in the St. Alexander Roman Catholic Church, Sagkeeng First Nations (Fort Alexander, MB) with Fr.
