FRANK WALTER LABA October 19, 1935 - February 8, 2007 After a life of love together, Nelda Laba is deeply saddened to announce the passing of her husband Frank on Thursday, February 8, 2007. He leaves to mourn his passing, wife Nelda, of 32 years; his two sons, Frank Jr. of Winnipeg, John of Whitemouth; Nelda's son Jack (Grace) Irwin of Winnipeg; Nelda's daughter Julie Clemence of Saskatoon, 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Frank was raised in Prawda where, in his early years, he worked with his father John in logging and construction. In 1975 Frank met and married Nelda, together for a time they ran the Shell Restaurant in Prawda, MB. Frank was retired from Trans Canada Pipeline where he worked for 38 years. In his early retirement Frank enjoyed building bird feeders and keeping his yard immaculate. The family would like to acknowledge the help extended to Frank and (Mum) by special friends and neighbours and to Sandy and Julie Zalitach, Kenny and Bobby Dobush, Prawda, MB, Anita Riedle, Winnipeg, Elda Dolynchuk, East Braintree, MB, North Eastman Health Care Team, Whitemouth, MB and to Dr.'s Duvall and Frechette, Ste. Anne, MB. With respect to Frank Sr.'s wishes no funeral service will be held. Cremation has taken place and a family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association.
