Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALAN DAVID PATTERSON On Saturday, February 10, 2007 at the Health Sciences Centre, Alan passed away at the age of 54 years. Alan is survived by his sister and family, Gail and Bob Ashuk, Melanie, Ron, Riley and Kiera Buchanan, and Kyle, Angie, Daylon and Payton Ashuk; his brother Gordon, Dale, Dawn Patterson (Mike) and Shannon, Jarett and Draven Marr; his Aunty Joyce Tod, and his many cousins. Alan was born on December 13, 1952 to Jean and Dave Patterson. Alan was predeceased by Dave in 1956 and Jean in 1998. Alan had many interests and loves. He loved to bowl, play darts and fish. Alan became a Master Angler. Alan was employed by the Health Sciences Centre for the past 33 years, where he worked in the maintenance department. He will be sadly missed by his co-workers, as he would always put the coffee on, passed out the mints, brought the newspaper and always tried to be of help. He will also be missed by all of his friends at the Royal Canadian Legion. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 16, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #215 at 3600 DeVries, East St. Paul (at the Perimeter). The family would like to thank Dr. Jillian Horton and the staff at the Health Sciences Centre for their kind and compassionate care of Alan. In lieu of flowers, the family would ask that any donation be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. A private family interment will take place in the spring.
