EMILY BOGDANIUK (nee SOKOLIUK) Suddenly, on February 7, 2007 Emily passed away at Riverview Care Centre. She was predeceased by her parents, Bill and Lena Sokoliuk; husband John (1989); son Billy (2006); brothers, Metro, Harry, Mike, John, Alex, Sandy; one sister Anne and two sisters in infancy. Emily leaves to mourn, sister-in-law Pat and numerous nieces, nephews and her special friend Stan. She was born in the municipality of Danbury, SK, where she met and married John and they later moved to Winnipeg. Emily was an avid animal lover and had many pets throughout her lifetime and she was a big supporter of the Humane Society. Emily chose hairdressing as her profession and later worked at the Health Sciences Centre in the housekeeping dept. She loved to paint, go dancing at the legion and visit with friends and family. She will be sadly missed by everyone. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, February 17 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with the Very Rev. Fr. John A. Melnyk officiating.
