WILLIAM (BILL) WACHNUK After a full and very active life, Bill peacefully left this earth February 10, 2007 with his family at his side, wife Myrtle of 55 years and loving children, Sharon Burdy (Stephen) and Randy. Born to John and Mary, January 2, 1927, Bill was raised with his sisters, Bernice and Irene on the family's Market Garden Farm. After completing his schooling, he started a lifelong career at Eaton's retiring in 1987. Once retired, Bill pursued his lifelong interests of helping his family and meeting his friends to share their joy and sadness in ventures lost and won. Bill's sense of humor, his dedication to gaming and his boundless energy was an inspiration to many. Especially missed will be his laughter, his joking, his mischievous antics and he would hope that we will remember him with this in mind. A celebration of his life will take place at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Avenue, on Friday February 16 at 10:00 a.m. with viewing one hour prior to service.
