Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRIEDA FALK (nee MARTENS) Peacefully, on February 10, 2007 at Oakview Place, Frieda passed away at the age of 86. Frieda is predeceased by her parents, Agatha and Johann Martens, husband Ed, only child Gordon, and brother John Martens. She leaves to mourn her loving granddaughters, Jennifer Marucci (Justin) and Dr. Susan Falk; their mother Pamela Miller; great- granddaughters Bailey, Juliana, and Victoria; sister Elsie Klassen (John); sister-in-law Violet Martens; as well as many other relatives and friends. Frieda grew up in Springstein ,MB where she attended school and graduated from MCI in Gretna. She enjoyed playing piano for many church activities in Springstein. Frieda married Ed Falk in June, 1944 and they subsequently moved to Winnipeg. She enjoyed her many friends through curling, bridge, and golf. She and her family were members of Breezy Bend Golf and Country Club for many years. Frieda enjoyed a love of traveling which took her all over the world, seeing countries such as India, Thailand, Egypt, China, Africa, Russia, and throughout the U.S. Funeral services will take place at the First Mennonite Church, Notre Dame and Arlington; on Thursday, February 15, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Rev.
