Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGORDON ARTHUR GOETZ On February 12, 2007 Gordon Goetz, aged 81 years, passed away at the Morris Hospital. Gordon leaves to mourn his loving wife of 57 years, Laura; sister-in-law Rita Lindsay, along with many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Jacob and Anna Goetz, and sister Lorraine Riach. Gordon was born in Overstone, MB on May 19, 1925 growing up in the Overstone Ridgeville area. Gordon farmed in the Ridgeville area until he and Laura moved to Emerson in 1982. Gordon was a long-time member of the Emerson Elks. He spent many hours between the horse farm and Emerson coffee shops. A memorial will be held on Friday, February 16, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Andrews United Church in Emerson, with a private family interment to follow at the Emerson Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if family and friends so desire, donations in Gordon's memory can be given to a charity of one's choice. Wiebe Funeral Home in Altona, 204-324-5954
