Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMAURICE FILLION It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, stepfather, and brother, Maurice Fillion, on February 11, 2007. At the age of 47 years he leaves to mourn his loving wife and companion of 14 years, Jo-Anne (Houle), and his stepchildren, Daniel and Muriel Beaupré. He also leaves to cherish his memory four brothers, Eugene and Sandra (Dyck), Léo and Joanne (Dupuis), Gérald and Karla (Grafton), Albert and Suzanne (Manaigre); one sister Doreen and husband Bernard Proulx; sister-in-law Anne Marie (Houle) Fillion; brother-and-sister-in-law Aurele and Laurette (Chartier); mother-in-law Georgette Houle (Brais); and many nieces and nephews. Maurice was predeceased by his parents, Antonin and Florence (Pelland) Fillion; his brother Robert (Red) Fillion, and father-in-law Arthur Houle. We would like to thank the staff at the McEwen Centre for their compassionate care and support, and a very special thank you to Paola Dubiel and Dr. K. Gallagher, for being there in time of need. We would also like to thank family and friends for all of their support. Thank you to Constable Erin McDonnell for your understanding and sensitivity. Open prayers will be held at the St. Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church on Friday, February 16 at 7:30 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at the church on Saturday, February 17 at 2:00 p.m. with viewing prior.
