MARJORIE EDITH ELLIOTT June 23, 1915 February 13, 2007 Peacefully on Tuesday, February 13, 2007 Marjorie passed away at Golden Links Lodge surrounded by those she loved. Born on June 23, 1915, Marjorie was the only child of Fred and Mabel (nee George) Elliott. She is survived by many cousins and their families. Marjorie worked in the music library of the CBC for many years and later assumed administrative responsibilities with the Corporation until her retirement. She had a zest for life, a passion for big band music and loved to travel, but her greatest joy was her extended family. As the unofficial family historian, she looked forward to family gatherings where she would tell tales about members of the George clan. The family wishes to thank the staff of Golden Links Lodge for the kindness and care they extended to Marjorie. A private funeral service will be held.
