There was always a Saturday afternoon bonus for her regulars when they came by for a haircut. Polly donated her barber chair to the Moosehorn Museum. She lived life large and never missed a beat or a party. She loved to fish and received a Master Angler award for a silver bass caught at the Fairford River. A great bird hunter and back-catcher who hit her last home run when she was 47. She was known for her hospitality and her ability to fix items and utilize them to their fullest potential. Polly always said that the highlight of her life was her surprise 75th birthday party. Two hundred of her family and friends gathered for a celebration with dancing and a banquet. A weekend celebration that was enjoyed by all. Funeral services will be held at the Gypsumville Community Hall on February 17, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Stan Fowke officiating.
