Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIE ANTOINETTE (TWIN) DUNCAN Peacefully, on Thursday, February 15, 2007, at Pembina Place, Winnipeg, Mrs. Antoinette Duncan (nee Smith) passed away in her 98th year. She was predeceased by her loving husband Dave in 1988; her parents, Dorea and Robert, and sister Bertha. She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Murray and wife Katherine of Bobcaygeon, Ontario, and Cecil and wife Patricia of Winnipeg; grandchildren, Anne Marie and David of Ottawa, Emily of Calgary, and Alison of Peterboro, Greg of Winnipeg, and Rob of Montreal, as well as three great-grandchildren. Born in Richer, Manitoba, Twin lived most of her life in Transcona where she was a housewife and mother. She faithfully attended Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Transcona and participated in many of Transcona's social activities. Between 1988 and 1997 she resided amongst numerous friends, including her Aunt and friend Cecile Foster, at Kiwanis Chateau in downtown Winnipeg. From that time to the present she was a resident at Pembina Place. In lieu of flowers, friends wishing to honour Twin's memory may donate to a charity of their choice. A Service of Remembrance will be held in May followed by interment at Transcona Cemetery.
